Sprouting season
The Funen Village opens at Easter. During the Easter holiday, we focus on everything that sprouts and grows as nature awakens.
The light returns, spring has arrived, and we celebrate the new beginnings that sprout from the soil, emerge from burrows, and hatch from eggs.
We also invite you on a journey into Easter traditions with old Easter games, gækkebreve (traditional Danish Easter teasing letters), and vivid storytelling about Easter customs in the rural communities of the 1800s.
